We begin with an evaluation and recommend a training path based on your dog’s age, behavior, and your goals.
Lessons take place at our East Fishkill training center with you participating. The four core services below follow the structure of our current programs.
For puppies approximately 8–16 weeks old.
A focused introduction to early development, confidence, and communication. We help you guide your puppy through the first stages of learning and introduce the foundations of recall.
For puppies approximately 3–5 months old.
Build on early puppy training with leash handling, a more connected walk, and an introduction to formal on-leash obedience. The work is as much about teaching you to guide your puppy clearly as teaching the puppy new skills.
For dogs of any age with behavior challenges.
For dogs who are insecure, reactive, aggressive, or difficult to manage in everyday situations. Each case starts with an evaluation so we can understand the behavior, discuss safety, and set realistic goals. Progress depends on the dog, the situation, and consistent practice.

Practice heeling, sit, down, stay, and recall while learning how your timing, movement, and leash handling affect your dog. These skills provide a foundation for more advanced training.
We also discuss off-leash training, tracking, protection work, and in-home training on an individual basis. Tell us what you are looking to accomplish on your evaluation form; we will discuss whether your goal is appropriate for your dog and what training may involve.
We’ll meet your dog at our training center, talk through your goals, and recommend a sensible next step. Evaluations typically take 30–45 minutes.
